Why Lubrication Is Vital

Lubrication, though as simple as it sounds, is one of the most important garage door maintenance services we provide. Because the tracks, hinges, springs, locks, and rollers on your garage door can get stuck, keeping your garage parts lubricated ensures that your garage will run smoothly and quickly as it should. If you notice that your garage door is noisy, your door may be in need of our service. In general though, your door should be lubricated at least once a year. In some cases, where you think some moving parts are too noisy and you have to replace them, you might find out that you only need to have them properly lubricated to solve the issue.

What Happens If You Do Not Lubricate Your Garage Door?

If you don't maintain your door in terms of lubrication it may experience squeaking, rusting, and trouble going up and down, which is why a proper lubrication is key to keeping your garage door going for several years without needing any part replacement. This procedure, though, requires the right tools and lubricant to ensure the lubrication process is done correctly and lasts as long as possible. Based on experience, we know that all lubricants are different from one another, and some may be more harmful than effective. We personally recommend using a lithium-based spray as a lubricant as it has a drip-free consistency, has a long life span, and can be used to lubricate all the garage parts needed.
